I’m a speaker, author, blogger, publisher and pastor’s wife and I help women who’ve been wounded by the church or other traumatic life experiences, so they can learn to trust God again.
I’ve spent the past 25 years in the book publishing industry, as co-founder and former owner of WinePress Publishing, and one-on-one as a freelance publishing coach. When self-publishing was still a bad word back in the early 90’s, I pioneered the independent publishing movement in the Christian market as a result of a successful self-publishing experience.
I founded “Always Faithful” a former live radio program for women on AM 630 KSLR in San Antonio, TX where I served as broadcast missionary under Commission to Every Nation, (http://www.alwaysfaithfulradio.com).
Early this year, I returned to publishing in the NW and co-founded Redemption Press (http://www.redemption-press.com).
I’ve written three books including, “Consumed by Success: Reaching the Top and Finding God Wasn’t There,” and I do lots of blogging on my personal site, http://www.athenadeanholtz.com/blog.
The most exciting thing that’s happened to me recently is I married Ross Holtz, founding pastor of The Summit, an Evangelical Free Church. That means I’m now a pastor’s
wife…who knew? We now have a combined family of six sons, two daughters and 17 grandchildren, and absolutely LOVE boating and RVing. We live in Enumclaw where a large percentage of our grandkids live as well.
